Overview Tough Law:
1995, JF city, which until then was a city of peace, was taken over by organized crime. The police chief began investigating criminal organizations and disappeared after going to a bar to interrogate suspects. Tommy Malloy is his friend and a Tough cop that will do anything to find him, no matter how difficult it is or whoever he has to face. Tough Law is an beat n up game where we can face whoever to find our desapeared friend. To start with, as a huge beat ’em up fan I can’t physically vote this project down due to the fact how much effort was put into the design and soundtrack (I know it’s nothing special, but still catchy and goes with the genre pretty well) of this game. But some things are needed to be said and I really hope that the developer will take care of the things I had misfortune to face while trying to beat the first level:Changing controls (I don’t have to tell ya,but still hope it will be added in the nearest updates,cause it’s rather unpleasent to mash alt or ctrl trying to make something out of it. If you play with the controller – the configuration is also kinda clumsy cause it’s not your usual “x- punch, y- kick and a- jump” kind of thing. Game frequently freezes from the very begining of the first level as soon as the fight with more than one opponent starts and I don’t have a potato pc to blame so I don’t really know what’s the issue with it lagging so hard. One more thing about lagging but this time it’s about input. When you get punched or try to mix punching and kicking attacks our guy seems to be stuned longer than he should be with no visual warning so enemies have all time in this world to knock you back dealing a decent amount of damage.
