About Tate McRae Concert Experience:
I actually quite like this addition. The concert venue itself works similarly to the stadium in that your city will occasionally put on events, the success of which depends on your willingness to invest in them. There are associated policies and 3 associated buildings that are really quite nice for building up a ‘media district’ feel to your city, and have their own effects associated with them. The main site is can be upgraded and for that reason ties in quite well with some of the new Parklife mechanics to fill out your city’s tourism, though that’s by no means necessary. The DLC also comes with an extra radio station, which certainly isn’t nothing. Most of the negative reviews were posted shortly after the product’s release. Three new buildings have since been added, all of which enhance the functionality of the concert field. Particularly useful if you feel that a stadium is too much to fit into your city’s grid. Concert field is also upgradeable (twice) after certain conditions are met, and its capacity for fans increases with each upgrade, up to 500 attendees at the highest level. Music’s honestly not that great (save for NESTOR), but it’s a definite must-have for those mid-size nightlife cities that refuse to sleep. What you’re really paying for its the music. You get a new radio station that plays the artists featured in the concert building. The music is really good.
