About MeepCity:
It’s at its core a management game. Its a very fun one with all these little meeples running around to do what you ask them to. I’ve had a blast playing this, its not super stressful, its something that is kind of relaxing, despite the amount of complexity it can eventually get to. When it was in beta, it was super buggy, but with the most recent update, I’ve managed to build the largest station I ever have with almost no glitches whatsoever. There are only minor ones, which usually get a meeple stuck, and all you have to do is click “Assign Job” again and it will reset the character. Besides that, no issues, and it has been a lot of fun to play. Highly recommend if you enjoy management strategy games. This game has so. many. bugs. Meeples get stuck, doctors are useless, one square airlocks just start collecting pirates, the toilets will overflow at random and can’t be fixed until save/reload, engineers build things in ways that mean 1 internal square can’t possibly be reached. But it’s fun and challenging and the story isn’t half bad! This game is one big patch away from being great, from taking off and getting 10 times the downloads. I’d recommend buying it on the next sale.it’s got some bugs. But they’re usually caused by a quirky build system that screws up the pathing or allows you to build something you shouldn’t be able to. And yeah, switching between occupations usually fixes the occasional pathing errors, and it’s best to spam save to avoid discovering the non-functional autosave system when you need.
