Overview Koikatsu Sunshine:
Koikatsu Sunshine (コイカツ！サンシャイン in Japanese) is an eroge game created by the Japanese company Illusion and the successor to Koitaksu. The game was released on August 27, 2021. The story mode of the game revolves in the player (a male) going into vacation in a paradisiac southern Japanese island with his colleagues from an all-girl’s school with the objective to develop relationships with the girls. Koikatsu Sunshine also includes a character maker for create custom female and male characters. The game features an DLC with a studio mode for making scenes, positioning your character, or just taking screenshots of them. It also features a free DLC with Virtual Reality mode. The Avengers reassemble campaign is enjoyable the developers even went out of there way to create two models for kamala khan. One at the start of the story is significantly shorter and after the inciting incident there is a 5 year time jump and Kamala is significantly taller. There are little attention to detail here and there and even some heartfelt momentsthere that make it look like someone at the developers end, cared about this game. The combat is fun every avenger feels unique which is awesome considering they are all using the same basic combat system. The whole idea of the Avengers having their own hellicarrier and going on missions across the world feels authentic. But then there is the bad. The missions are repetitive and outside of story missions and character specific missions, the Avengers are silent throughout the mission. There is no banter or discussion among the party members. Then of course there’s the gear system. Gears have unique effects but in the end all that matters is a higher number. In the context of the Avengers it doesn’t make much sense that the hulk’s melee attack for instance, would have a chance to freeze enemies. Coupled with the fact that gear does not change the character’s appearance makes it feel like an afterthought. The in game currency is useless only used for buying gear which is already unnecessary and really expensive alternate costumes if a good one is available via the in game costume vendor.
