Your legacy begins now. Step into the Knight. Performances aren’t great, but the game is alright! Gotham Knights seems to get a lot of hate for very little reasons. Sure, the framerate isn’t good, but Arkham Knight was a total disaster on that front when it came out. Remember Steam issueing refunds after the 2hrs/2weeks period because the game was running so terribly bad? I do, cause I got a refund back them. I won’t be asking one for GK though, it doesn’t run perfectly, but it runs and it’s playable, and I don’t even have a high end PC. Before we talk about the game, let’s talk about the other elephant in the room: this is not and Arkham game. I feel a lot of people are just disgruntled because they didn’t get another Arkham game, but WB never lied about the fact that this WASN’T gonna be an Arkham game. A lot of people also seem disgruntled because they get bored of superheroes. I totally get that, but why would you subject yourself to anything superhero related when you don’t enjoy it If you want to play Arkham, you have 4 other titles to play or replay. And I’d like to point out, as much as Arkham Asylum is one of my all time favorites and Arkham City is also pretty much up there, that Origins wasn’t bad but wasn’t brilliant either, and Arkham Knight wasn’t all that good nor fresh. And since a lot people complain about the plot of GK and how predictable it is, the plot of Arkham Knight was so damn predictable that everyone had it guessed BEFORE the game launched.
