About Dungeon Fall:
I’ve played thousands of hours of this game on the client from the developer’s website. DFO is an incredibly unique game that no other game can quite scratch the itch of. It’s an MMO beat-em-up RPG, and if I had to compare it to another MMO in terms of feel, it’d be Black Desert. If you play, play the version through the DFONeople website, as the Steam client apparently has problems. I quit in early 2021, having played from the relaunch in March 2015. Until I quit I had sold runs of the hardest content on the hands down worst class in the game for several years, so it really is down to how much you’re willing to master your character and optimize your gear. I love this game, but I would describe it as a beautiful little hut underneath of a mountain of trash. If you’re an endgame player, you’ve been cozy while this mountain of trash built up around you. If you’re a new player, you must dig through the endless trash to try to find something worthwhile. For example, many new players report being automatically banned after their first day and having to manually appeal it to be able to play again. I really wonder what percentage of new players actually do this. I’d guess less than 10%. This game has a lot of problems, and most target new players for some reason. Also, the game is peer-to-peer so unless you have a good internet connection, don’t even try. If you are not in NA, northern South America, are unwilling to find a European guild, or able speak Chinese, you will likely be a solo-only player. Also, because of peer-to-peer, sometimes if one person crashes it’ll crash the entire group, potentially losing you your clear.
