First 15 minutes might be hard to unerstand what’s going on but then you don’t notice that almost 3 hours ago you started your game session and now you’re thinking about which story twist will be next. Great gameplay, catchy storyline, awesome characters. Fall in love with Ichiban and whole game. Thank you, devs! A party based turn combat format would have been fine if it had been done well. I never thought the old combat systems were any good any iteration of the older games I played, slow, clunky, more frustrating than anything, but this replacement doesn’t feel as though it has any weight to it, no depth. Just keep spamming the same attacks because the rest do nothing or miss. The game promises this will improve but after four hours? The cute side games and extra missions, at least so far, have been replaced with that Space Harrier sum and a link to a DLC slots store. That alone leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
